Visit the Modern Wine Cellar in Piedmont's Scenic Landscape
Exceptional Wines with Global Recognition
Nestled between the picturesque Langhe and Monferrato regions in Cuneo, Piedmont, Azienda Agricola Caudrina is a historic winery in Castiglione Tinella. The Dogliotti family has been crafting and sharing premium wines for generations, with their flagship Moscato D’Asti gaining international acclaim.
A Legacy of Passion and Expertise
The Caudrina Winery's story began in the 1940s when Redento Dogliotti revitalized Muscat grapes. His son, Romano, took over in the late 1970s, producing celebrated wines such as La Galesia (1989) and La Selvatica (1993). Today, Romano’s sons, Alessandro, Sergio, and Marco, continue the family tradition, with Alessandro leading winemaking efforts while Sergio and Marco manage the vineyards.
Wines That Capture the Essence of the Region
Romano honors the family's viticulture heritage while embracing modern techniques. The winery cultivates a diverse range of grapes, including Moscato, Spumante, Barbera, and Nizza, alongside fruity Nebbiolo, Chardonnay, and Dolcetto, all grown without chemicals. Manual labor is the only method used in the vineyards, ensuring quality and sustainability.
In the cellar, a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary practices is evident. The winery utilizes modern stainless steel tanks, wooden oak barrels, and barriques for aging and refining wines. Visitors can savor a selection of world-class red and white wines, complemented by sparkling and dessert varieties.
