Enrico Crola Winery, Nestled between Monte Rosa and the Alps
Set in the charming hills of Novara, Enrico Crola Winery is located on the land of Mezzomerico, a beautiful town in Upper Piedmont. The winery is surrounded by the magnificent view from all the four directions – Po Valley to the south up to Ticino Valley to the west, Alps to the north and then splendid Monte Rosa massif. The region where Enrico Crola Winery is situated has a long history of winemaking traditions.
Winemaking in Respect to Mother Nature
The history of Enrico Crola dates back to 2006, when Enrico, the founder and present owner, began the cultivation of proprietary grapes. After the first harvest, he established Enrico Crola estate and expanded the winemaking business by buying more land. The turning point of the company was 2014 when Enrico decided to begin the construction of the new winery. Today, Enrico Crola is a large company covered by charming countryside and vineyards. With full respect for nature, Enrico produces a wide range of grapes, including Nebbiolo, Vespolina and Erbaluce.
The Winery is Managed with the Best Wine Production Technique
The underground cellar at Enrico Crola is where the processing of the grapes takes place. The best bunches arrive for soft pressing and then for further fermentation in stainless steel tanks. With the controlled temperature facilities, the wines are stored in wooden barrels of various sizes for productive aging and refining. These storage systems enhance the typical aromas and flavors of their luscious wines. The styles of wine the staff produces include red and white wines as well as high-quality rosé, and sparkling wines.
