Bodegas Navaltallar produces all natural wines on the highest wine region on a land full of history

The land where the winery stands is the municipality of Navalilla, the province of Segovia where wine and winemaking tradition has been around for ages. The chronicles of Castile King Alfonoso VII sent to look for wine in the dawn of the twelfth century and with a mission to recover the tradition of winemaking in this area, Bodegas Navaltallar was brought to life.

A Unique Combination of Climate and Soil

The Castile and Leon region gives the winery a unique combination of climate and soil. This is the highest wine region in Europe at 920 metres above average sea level. With the right techniques in their ten hectares of vineyards, adequate control of water stress and structure in the vineyard makes sure that Tempranillo grapes growing here mature to perfection.

The Winery Makes No Compromise with Quality

Wines of Bodegas Navaltallar are all natural with natural acidity. Bodegas Navaltallar is one of the few wineries that do not use acidification on their wines and these natural red wines have 14% alcohol. 120 barrels of French and American Oak age their gorgeous wines and make sure that they preserve and savor every aroma and every hint of flavor so that you get the full package when tasting. 40000 bottles of wine are produced each year by Bodegas Navaltallar. And the winery makes sure that there are no compromises whatsoever when it comes to the quality of these wines.
