Bodegas Navaltallar crafts all-natural wines in the highest wine region of Europe, steeped in rich history.

Located in Navalilla, Segovia, Bodegas Navaltallar stands in a region where winemaking has deep roots. Historical records from the reign of King Alfonso VII in the 12th century highlight the area's long-standing wine tradition, which inspired the establishment of this winery.

Exceptional Climate and Soil

The unique climate and soil of Castilla y León contribute to the winery's exceptional wines. Situated at 920 meters above sea level, this region is the highest wine-producing area in Europe. The winery's ten hectares of vineyards benefit from careful water management and vineyard structure, allowing Tempranillo grapes to reach optimal ripeness.

Commitment to Quality

Bodegas Navaltallar is dedicated to producing all-natural wines with authentic acidity. Unlike many wineries, they do not use acidification, resulting in natural red wines with an alcohol content of 14%. The wines are aged in 120 barrels of French and American oak, enhancing their aromas and flavors. Each year, the winery produces around 40,000 bottles, ensuring that quality remains their top priority.

Today we did a tasting at Bodegas Navaltallar. And I want to thank Alejandro for the welcome he has given us, and for his professionalism and passion with which he transmits so much knowledge. And of course, some spectacular wines, especially the Crianza. Congratulations and keep growing!!!

We met Alejandro Costa at a land and flavors fair in Segovia, a person who knows how to explain his work, friendly and very kind. We recommend his wines: beautiful color, fruity notes, lots of perfume, good balance and aromas in the mouth.

We drank a bottle of Navaltallar and we liked it so much that we wanted to visit the winery. It has been one of the best visits we have made. Very educational, you learn whether you know a lot or a little about the world of wine. Alejandro transmits professionalism and dedication. The quality/price of the wines is amazing, a treasure to discover. Thank you so much.

Magnificent visit, in a very familiar environment and where you learn what real wine is. It does not have the pomp of large wineries, and that is what gives this winery and the visit with Alejandro its charm. Despite having been interested in the world of wine for many years and having visited many wineries, today I have learned many things that until now no one had told me. And the most important thing is that it is a miracle that a wine can reach the glass. So many things can happen, both in the field and in the winery, that having a glass of good wine is truly a miracle. Many thanks to Alejandro and we will remember him and everything he told us every time we taste one of those bottles that we bought - at a very good price, by the way - at the end of the visit.

Bodegas Navaltallar is a functional, clean, and fantastic place to check out how wines are made. The visit was guided by Alejandro, he is super friendly and gave me a glass of Mosto (it is a kind of grape juice, made from pressed grapes before the wine process). You can check it in the pictures. My husband bought some bottles of wine. It tastes delicious. If you are close by and have the opportunity to check out Bodegas Navaltallar, I highly recommend it.
