The Priorat region has a long-standing tradition of winemaking that dates back to Roman times. While vineyards have flourished here for centuries, it was in the 11th century that Priorat began to take shape as we know it today, with its unique llicorella soils nurtured under the guidance of the Prior of the Cartuja de Santa Maria de Scala Dei. Buil & Giné has been a family-run winery for six generations, with a deep agricultural heritage. The family continues to cultivate their land, passing down knowledge and traditions enriched by the influence of various civilizations that have settled in this Mediterranean enclave.
