Cascina I Carpini: A Family Legacy in Piedmont

Founded in 1998, Cascina I Carpini is a family-owned winery dedicated to crafting high-quality wines through natural processes. The estate, rich in meadows, forests, and wildlife, offers exceptional conditions for vine cultivation. With years of dedication and passion, the winery combines traditional methods with modern techniques to produce remarkable wines that reflect the essence of the Piedmont region.

The Unique Terroir of Cascina I Carpini

Situated in the eastern part of Piedmont near the Tortona Hills, Cascina I Carpini boasts a stunning landscape of rolling hills adorned with orchards and vineyards. The region enjoys a favorable climate for grape growing, characterized by consistent rainfall and cold winters. The significant temperature variations between day and night promote optimal grape ripening, while ample sunlight and ventilation enhance vine health.

The Art of Winemaking at Cascina I Carpini

At Cascina I Carpini, the winemaking process begins with handpicking the finest grapes, which are then transported to the winery for vinification. The grape bunches are destemmed to avoid unwanted tannins, and fermentation occurs at controlled temperatures to preserve the wines' natural freshness and acidity. The wines are aged in semi-underground cellars, resulting in exceptional local red and white wines that showcase the unique characteristics of the region.

Small farm on the hills on the border between Lombardy and Piedmont with excellent quality production. Its wines have won numerous awards and gold medals. Timorasso, Barbera and 50% grappa are highly recommended. Excellent attention and courtesy to the customer. You can feel the passion in the explanations of the artisan work required to produce this quality. Congratulations to Mr. Vittorio and his wife

Paolo and the whole family are exquisite and kind people. We stayed with them for a visit and tasting in the cellar and had a great time. They put a lot of passion into it and you can feel it. Obviously excellent wines!

While driving in the amazing views of Piemonte Me and my colleagues noticed the I CARPINI WINERY and spontaneously decided to try our luck to have a winery tour. We surprised Evanna, a lovely lady and the owner of I CARPINI winery who immediately welcomed us and has led us to Paulo. Her brother, who runs the winery with his sister . Paulo stoped his work for us, and dedicated himself to give us a super sensual experience! It was much more than a winery tour. It was a rare occasion to meet a fuscinating man who creates his art with a lot of love, wisdom and understanding of the holistic requirements to create an astonishing wines and other drinks made of grapes (you have to check his grappa!).

We made an impromptu visit and went to their place last Sunday, the youngest of the team Carlo welcomed us and opened the doors to us and told us all about the passion and technique that this family puts into making an excellent Timorasso! I really liked both the classic and the very good Charmat method, then for more demanding people there is also the classic method and their "Orange" version. Go and visit them, they are very good!

If you want to know about a different, organic, vegan wine, you have to visit this winery and if you want to know more about wine, you have to meet Paolo, where passion has changed the way of making wine. If you love wine, you have to go there.
