Moreno Degrassi, the founder of Degrassi Winery, is a celebrated winemaker who played a pivotal role in shaping the Istrian wine landscape. His passion for wine began when he couldn't find a bottle that met his standards for his restaurant. In 1996, he took the leap into serious winemaking, and today, Degrassi Winery spans approximately 21 hectares of vineyards, primarily located near Buje.
The vineyards at Degrassi are situated on distinctive white soil across four key locations: Bomarchese, Contarini, Ferne’, and San Pellegrin. Here, you will find a diverse range of grape varieties, including Malvasia, Chardonnay, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, among others. The winery also cultivates Terrano and Refosco on red soil. Each grape is handpicked to ensure the production of exceptional red, white, rosé, and dessert wines.
Degrassi wines are known for their aromatic profiles, purity, and pronounced minerality. The combination of modern technology and traditional methods allows the winery to showcase the elegance of its wines. The numerous domestic and international awards received by Degrassi are a testament to the dedication and passion poured into every bottle.

Write a reviewI dropped by spontaneously. Very friendly staff. Was able to taste a few wines and even bought some. Only a short visit, but it made me want to do a more detailed tasting. Definitely next time.

The wine tasting was excellent. Both educational and fun and of course very tasty :) the wine tastes excellent. Both the fresh and the reserva wines. It was a great experience. Afterwards there was a delicious cocktail.

Truly another championship. Selection of high-profile wines and decidedly old vintages. I can't wait to open the bottles.

We called today spontaneously and made an appointment for a tour and wine tasting. Moreno Degrassi personally took the time for us and let us try lots of wines. We learned a lot about wine and how it is made in German and Italian. We had a lot of fun. Of course we also bought a few bottles of wine straight away, which were then packaged for us.
