Authenticity in Every Sip of Swiss Wine
A Rich Heritage of Winemaking
Domaine Bertholet boasts a winemaking tradition that dates back to the late 19th century. In 1897, Eugène Bertholet began cultivating vines alongside his agricultural pursuits, gradually shifting focus to exclusive wine production. His son Georges and grandson Jean-Jacques further expanded the family estate. In 2007, Christophe took over the winery after a decade of working alongside his father, continuing a legacy of generations dedicated to the art of winemaking.
Meticulous Winemaking Process
At Domaine Bertholet, each bottle reflects a commitment to quality. The winery practices integrated production methods on over 3 hectares of traditional vineyards, utilizing both goblet and Guyot training systems. Annually, the estate produces between 35,000 and 40,000 bottles, showcasing the unique terroir of the region. Visitors can appreciate the care and craftsmanship that goes into every sip of their wines.
