Winegrowers for 6 generations, the Besancenot family exploited the first vines in 1850, in Beaune, in Burgundy.Dominique and Thérèse are today the artisans of this formidable heritage.

The Winery

The family is attached and faithful to the terroir. The typicity of each parcel is respected; the 12 appellations spread over 10 hectares are made from noble grape varieties, 100% Pinot Noir for the reds and Chardonnay or Aligoté for the whites.
Respectful of the know-how passed down through the generations, the working methods remain traditional without neglecting new technologies. The domain is certified Vignerons indépendants and HVE since 2018.

Tasting of 7-8 wines in the cellar with another group of 9 people. Very friendly moment, very good wines where everyone can find what they are looking for. Welcome and great sympathy from Thérèse and her brother!! I recommend this domain.

Beautiful tasting room, nice people. I won't rate the wine, as Pinot isn't my taste and I generally find the wines overpriced.

We had a fantastic wine tasting experience with a Wonderbox. The guide explained everything clearly, and the 7 wines we tried were excellent. Since we were alone, it felt very personalized. After, she gave us a tour of the caves and the wine factory. Highly recommended. They speak English!

Charming estate and great tasting, very fun and informative. We learned lots of things and tasted good wines in a family estate. Special mention for the young work-study student who took care of us, we had a great time thanks to him.

An unforgettable day at Domaine Besancenot! We had the pleasure of attending their open day and it was a great experience. The wine tasting was a real treat, with high quality products that delighted our taste buds. The warm and attentive welcome from the staff helped make the day even more special.
