Small Boutique Winery in Apulia
The Mazzone Farm is a small boutique winery nestled among vineyards and olive groves in the Apulian countryside. The winery shares the story of the Mazzone family and their love for their lands. It was in the 1970s when Domenico inherited the land from his father. The dream of a beautiful winery became a reality when Domenico’s son, Francesco became an oenologist and decided to use the lands and create their wines. It was under him the farm constructed their first underground cellar and their modern vineyards.
Mazzone Boutique Winery Obtained Organic Certification in 2016
They decided to make wines only from their native grapes including Nero di Troia, white Bombino and white Malvasia. They have been using traditional methods to put their wines on the map. Currently, they produce about 50,000 bottles of wines which sold in Italy and around the world, only in the best restaurants. They also have a sales point where you can buy their wines directly. They have a wide assortment of red, white, rose and sparkling wines which are certified IGT. The winery has come a long way since 2004, when the first grape harvest in their vineyards was carried out. In 2016, the winery went organic in all their processes in the vineyards as well as cellar.
