Cantina Masseria Torricella is born from a deep love for the land, vines, and the iconic Trulli hills of Puglia. Founded by Peppe Consoli and his brothers, Francesco and Massimo, along with their father Vito, this family-run winery is dedicated to sustainable practices. Their mission is to harmonize modern agriculture with environmental stewardship. By employing organic farming methods, they protect the natural beauty of their homeland while respecting the earth's cycles.
Nestled just a few kilometers from the charming town of Alberobello, Masseria Torricella is set in a vast karst valley known as the “Canale di Pirro.” The vineyards benefit from a south-facing orientation, soaking up the warm Apulian sun and enjoying refreshing breezes that cool the grapes during the hot summer months.
The vineyards at Masseria Torricella reflect a time-honored relationship between humans and nature. The team nurtures the vines by respecting their natural rhythms and needs, avoiding chemical fertilizers. By limiting grape production, they focus on achieving exceptional quality in their wines. The harvest is conducted by hand, allowing for careful selection of the finest grapes, ensuring that each bottle embodies the essence of Puglia.

We stopped by the cantina because the day before in Alberobello we had wine at the “wino & amore” restaurant, where I found out it was from a nearby vineyard, so we googled it and came across it. I would like to add that we are absolutely out of season (December 21st). It turns out that everything is open, so we decide to visit the vineyard and taste three wines. The tour is short but very interesting. Fire tasting, pairing each wine with different foods, local cheese, sausage, wine jelly... I must admit I was a very positive surprise. I highly recommend it, it's probably better to sign up, there are forms on the website, but we managed to participate in a very pleasant wine experience “on the go” :)

Beautiful experience at the farm during the Vino e Stella event. Interesting guided tour of the vineyards with detailed explanation by the very kind and competent staff. Delicious wines and great attention to detail. With an attitude of authentic passion and willingness to experiment (the ancient method white is fantastic). Finally, the informative intervention of the team of the Astronomical Planetarium of Bari is truly remarkable! Well done!

Cantina Masseria Torricella exceeded our expectations during our trip to Alberobello. Caught out by the heat, we found them on Google Maps and called ahead without a reservation. They were incredibly accommodating and welcomed us warmly. Ivet and her team were fantastic, offering us a delightful 3-wine tasting course. The cool, comfortable dining room was a perfect escape from the midday sun. Ivet personally guided us through their organic wines and history, making it a truly enjoyable experience. This visit was the highlight of our holiday, and we left with a bottle of their sparkling wine to enjoy later. Highly recommended!

Beautyfull organic Winery!! Ivette was our host during the visit and we love her pasion and how she room our tasting even with too babies. The wine line-up was great and the staff did a great job!!! We love this winery!!!!
