I am a social anthropologist turned sommelier, who in 2014 started doing wine tastings and tours, before setting up my own agency, Valencia Wine Consulting & Tours, in 2017.
I do my wine tastings at a nice quiet plaza in the old town of Valencia; for the wine tours I take people to wineries outside town, often to the Utiel-Requena wine region (with the famous Bobal grape), but also to the Alicante, south Valencia or Castellón wine regions, if people request different wine regions, or special requests for certain wineries, or wines.

I believe wine should be enjoyed, no matter your palate, or how much or little you know about wine - the important thing is that you enjoy it. I use my wine tastings and tours to show people the Valencian grapes, the wines and how they're made, and also basic things like how to taste wine, and detect oak in the wine, or the differences between the wines you're tasting. You don't need to know anything abuot wine to enjoy my wine tours and tastings! and I will not try to impress you by naming 20 aromas I can smell in my glass...Very low threshold!
My tours and tastings are usually private, for small and large groups: from 1-50 people (or more..).
