Join us for a memorable wine tasting and tour at Estancia Los Cardones, located in Tolombón, Salta province, in Argentina's northernmost wine region. Our winery offers a fascinating look into the Calchaquí Valleys, where the first grape plantations were established in 2009. While Malbec is the star of our vineyard, you will also find Petit Verdot, Garnacha, Cabernet, and Marsanne thriving in our unique terroir. The combination of intense sunlight, rocky soil, and vineyard orientation leads to earlier grape ripening, making us the first estate to harvest in the Calchaquí Valleys.
Perched at 1,700 meters above sea level, our estate provides stunning views and a rich heritage reflected in every glass of wine. Visit our beautifully designed stone winery, completed in early 2017, which is built from local stone, creating a strong connection to the land. With a production capacity of 150,000 liters and plans to expand to 250,000 liters, we are committed to quality and innovation in winemaking.
Under the guidance of the Saavedra Azcona family and esteemed winemaker Alejandro Sejanovich, we focus on highlighting the unique characteristics of Tolombón's terroir. Our careful vineyard management and winemaking techniques ensure that each bottle captures the essence of our land. Join us for a wine tasting and tour at Estancia Los Cardones, where tradition and modernity come together, and every sip tells the story of our exceptional region.
