The FERVIN Estate is a family estate located in the heart of the Vipava Valley. Center of the estate is a cellar located in the village of Vrtovin. In the nearby area, our vineyards are spread over 5 hectares of exceptional locations.
The imprints of our work and place in the wine you feel the most when you visit us and discover where and how the wine was made. That's why we invite you to join us on a guided wine tasting, where we will take you through the process of producing our wine. We begin with a presentation of the estate with a glass of pleasantly chilled sparkling wine in the shade of cherry trees. During a visit to the vineyard, we learn about the main viticultural tasks. This is followed by a tour of the grape pressing center and a presentation of our wine production process. In a relaxed atmosphere, we continue with a wine tasting accompanied by snacks of our own or local origin, and the tasting ends with a tour of the cellar and the opportunity to buy some wine.

Write a reviewFervin was another fantastic stop on our wine tour through the Vipava Valley. The wines were excellent, a lovely range that really showcased the character of the region, and it was clear a lot of care and craftsmanship goes into every bottle. What stood out most was the hospitality: the host took real time with us, walking us through the different wines and sharing the story behind the winery, which made the whole experience feel genuine rather than just a quick tasting. We left with a few bottles to take home and would happily go back. A must-visit for anyone exploring the Vipava wine region.
We had a lovely summers eve in knowledgeable hands of Matik - who picked us up from camping site and on the peaceful and scenic lawn of the vineyard we tasted 3 super white wines and looked at the vines; later in the cellar we had delicious bread and ham and cheese with a further 3 wines. We purchased loads and thoroughly enjoyed learning about the hand picked process and community involvement. Congrats to the family on their hard work and commitment to high quality wines. And I love bubbles and fizz!
September 2025, we had a great wine tasting experience at Fervin vineyard. Our wine tasting started with a pickup at our camp by Matic, one of the owners of Fervin. Matic told us a lot about the winery, styles of wine and it's production. We got to taste 8 different wines, shared a tasty plate of cheese and ham, saw the production facilities and learned about what makes each type of wine unique. We had a great time and tasted really good wines. Absolutely recommend a wine tasting at Fervin!
Matic gave us a wonderful tour, a passionate insight into family know-how, and had us taste 7 wines alongside a large platter of local charcuterie. An authentic, informative, and generous experience that we highly recommend! The wines (in addition to being good) are at affordable prices. Hvala Matic!

We had a wonderful evening at the Fervin winery. We were picked up and it began with a warm welcome right next to the vines. At sunset, we tasted the first wines outside, then walked through the vines, toured the courtyard, and also the wine cellar. In the cellar, we were treated to delicacies from the entire Vipava Valley, accompanied by the other wines the winery has to offer. Throughout the entire tour, Matic told us everything there is to know about the wines with infectious passion, leaving no question unanswered.
