The dish is simple to prepare and takes little time. Pork shoulders are great for crackling roast pork, but any meat will suffice. Garlic, flour, onion, wine, broth, olive oil, salt, pepper, and fennel should be marinated in the pork overnight. The key to correctly roasted pork is to carefully cook it over medium heat, which helps tenderize and flavor the flesh. Typically, the entrée is accompanied by a side dish or gravy. This savory dish pairs well with Slovenska Istra wines.

Lasagne alla Bolognese

In this rich and substantial piatto unico, layers of handmade, frequently spinach-flavored fresh egg lasagna noodles are layered with béchamel sauce and ragù alla Bolognese, a thick beef sauce.

Lasagne Alla Bolognese is liberally coated with Parmigiano-Reggiano, the Emilian king of cheeses, before baking till soft on the inside and crisp on top. This oven-baked classic is popular in Emilia-Romagna, particularly in Bologna. This dish has grown in popularity over time and has become a global emblem of Italian cuisine. This light dish pairs well with Slovenska Istra wines.

Barbecue

Barbecue is most commonly associated with an outdoor social event in which meats or fish, together with vegetables, are cooked over a wood or charcoal fire with the lid closed.

Barbecuing has long been a part of American culture and is often appreciated during celebrations and social gatherings around the country. BBQ is frequently served with sauce, salad, sweet potato, and beans. Pork and beef are the most popular meats. Other barbecued dishes include lamb, chicken, sausages, and even shellfish.
