Located in Picedo di Polpenazze del Garda, amidst the rolling hills of Alta Valtenesi, Bottarelli Franco and Valerio Winery is perfectly positioned between the picturesque towns of Salò and Desenzano del Garda. Since its establishment in 1937, this winery has gained a reputation for producing high-quality wines and extra virgin olive oil.

A Legacy of Winemaking

The Bottarelli family’s winemaking tradition began in the late 1930s with Giacomo and his brother Fabio, who founded Cantine Giacomo and Fabio Bottarelli. After Giacomo's passing in 1959, his sons Franco and Valerio took over, modernizing the winery while respecting traditional viticulture practices. Today, the third generation manages the estate, which spans 15 hectares. The winery cultivates a diverse range of grapes, including Groppello Gentile, Marzemino, Sangiovese, and Barbera, alongside high-quality Riesling Italico and Chardonnay. They have also expanded their vineyards in Desenzano del Garda to grow the unique Trebbiano di Lugana. The winery produces a wide selection of wines, including red, white, sparkling, rosé, and dessert wines, all classified under the DOC Garda Classico region.

Enjoy Grappas and Limoncello

In addition to their wines, Bottarelli Franco & Valerio produces premium extra virgin olive oil, a single variety Grappa, and the renowned Limoncello del Garda, all under the Garda and Lugana DOC status. The estate features a Restaurant-Farm where visitors can savor exquisite wines paired with traditional regional dishes made from local ingredients. The restaurant offers stunning panoramic views of the beautiful Lombardy landscape.
