The area has been a prominent vine growing and winemaking region for a very long time. The family themselves started out as vine growers in 1870. The fundamental work of the family was replanting the vineyards destroyed by the phylloxera plague. During this time too, the wine was made but it was only for family consumption. The family experimented during the late nineties and 2000s and finally opened this boutique winery. It is located on top of a hill surrounded by vineyards. They cultivate local varieties of grapes in the vineyard. The grape varieties grown here are Garnacha, Albillo Real, and Moscatel de Grano Menudo. The wines made using these grapes in the winery have a denomination of origin Vinos de Madrid. They produce red, white, rose, and dessert wine in the cellar.
