Garnacha, Albillo Real, and Moscatel de Grano Menudo Grown in the Vineyards
The area has been a prominent vine growing and winemaking region for a very long time. The family themselves started out as vine growers in 1870. The fundamental work of the family was replanting the vineyards destroyed by the phylloxera plague. During this time, wine was made but only for family consumption. The family experimented during the late nineties and 2000s and finally opened this boutique winery. Bodega Valleyglesias is located on top of a hill surrounded by their vineyards. They cultivate local varieties of grape varieties of Garnacha, Albillo Real, and Moscatel de Grano Menudo. The wines made at Bodega Valleyglesias fall under the denomination of origin Vinos de Madrid. They produce red, white, rosé, and dessert wines in their cellar.
Locally Sourced Produce and Traditional Dishes in the Winery Restaurant
