Tradition Meets Innovation at Castelfranci

Colli di Castelfranci is a testament to the passion of a new generation dedicated to the rich legacy of the Irpinia wine region. Here, the art of winemaking is passed down through generations, blending time-honored techniques with modern practices. The winery retains ancient tools and continues to mature wines in wooden barrels, honoring the methods of their ancestors. This unique combination allows the team to produce refined wines that reflect both tradition and contemporary innovation.

Ideal Terroir for Exceptional Grapes

Situated in a prime location, the winery benefits from fertile vineyards that thrive in the Mediterranean climate. The region's optimal humidity and soil conditions contribute to the growth of high-quality grapes. With a focus on quality over quantity, the average yield per vine is kept low, ensuring that each grape is hand-harvested and brought to the cellar for vinification. The winery specializes in Fiano, Aglianico, and Greco grapes, crafting a diverse range of red, white, and rosé wines.

Careful Vinification and Aging Process

At Colli di Castelfranci, meticulous attention is given to every step of the winemaking process to enhance the wine's taste, aroma, and authenticity. After fermentation, wines are aged in wooden barrels to develop their unique characteristics. Following bottling, the wines continue to mature, allowing them to evolve from youthful to sophisticated. The winery also welcomes visitors who wish to appreciate the beauty of the region and savor their exceptional wines.

A growing cellar in terms of structure and wines. The rosé is excellent with strong hints of rose and red fruits; Fiano and Greco di tufo deserve to be protagonists of the table as do Campi Taurasini and obviously Taurasi.
