A Family Legacy in Winemaking

Fabio Ferracane Winery is steeped in tradition, with roots tracing back to my grandfather's 3 hectares of vineyard. In the 1990s, my father primarily sold grapes to other wineries in the Marsala area, producing wine mainly for family gatherings. My earliest memories of winemaking began at the age of 15, assisting my father in crafting those cherished bottles. This hands-on experience ignited my passion for viticulture, leading me to pursue formal studies in oenology and gain valuable experience in various wineries, including some abroad.

A Natural Approach to Winemaking

During my university studies, I learned that wine production is often viewed as a biochemical process. However, I realized that my perspective on wine was different. I believe that true wine reflects its territory and the natural environment from which it originates. This belief has guided my commitment to producing natural wines through organic cultivation methods. By focusing on the unique characteristics of Sicilian terroir, I aim to create wines that genuinely express the essence of our land.
