Heiner's winery. is located just a few minutes' walk from Bolzano old town at the old court “Heinrichshof”.

The young winemaker describes himself as a nature-loving career changer and tries to break new ground. The farm is managed sustainably and almost exclusively by hand.

The two local grape varieties Vernatsch and Lagrein as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Moscato Giallo are cultivated. In addition, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon are sourced from higher altitudes.

There is as little intervention as possible in the cellar, and wines with a special character are produced using natural methods (sometimes spontaneous fermentation and long maceration times).

"My ultimate goal is to produce natural and honest wines, the wines should reflect the grape variety and, above all, the vintage."

The tour with Mr. Heiner was an experience. Thank you for the wealth of information and especially for allowing us to go so deep into the cellar. The very generous 🍾 tasting 🍷 in a pleasant atmosphere without wine poetry will stay in our memories, especially when our order arrives. 🚚Thank you very much!

Heiner’s vineyard was a highlight of our weekend in Bolzano — laid-back and super knowledgeable, Heiner took us on a tour through his family winery, explaining everything from his natural wine making process to the label design. We tried a cross section of the wines, everything was fantastic — our favourite pick was the Principessa Bianco. We reached out to the winemaker via email on short notice, and feel lucky we didn’t miss out on this unique experience. Cheers Heiner!

We were on a trip through Austria and Italy and stopped by at Heiner's winery (reached out to him via email) to have a very nice excursion to a cozy Italian winery and taste many sorts of local wine he makes himself. It great to see such passion and the whole wine-making experience at a single place. Can not recommend more!

Very tasty wine! The young winemaker Heiner organizes great tours of his winery and shows you the way from the grape to the bottle. We love the Gewürztraminer GTO and the Illusione!
