A Family Tradition in Moslavina's Wine Heritage
Klet Romić is one of the pioneering family-run wineries in the Moslavina region of Croatia, welcoming visitors since the early 1980s. Our story began with our grandmother Nada, who crafted delicious meals in our kitchen, paired with the wines produced from our vineyards. Our grandfather planted the first vines in 1974, and today, we cultivate 0.5 hectares of our own vineyards alongside 2.5 hectares in collaboration with local growers.
Now, the next generation is at the helm: granddaughter Tena manages the kitchen, while grandson Nikica oversees the cellar and vineyards, guided by the wisdom of Nada and Drago. We produce between 10,000 to 12,000 liters of wine annually, with our pride being the Moslavina Škrlet, crafted in various styles including basic, sparkling, orange, and predikat. Other notable varieties include Graševina, known as the queen of Croatian wines, Frankovka, the red queen of the Croatian Uplands, Pinot Blanc, and Sauvignon Blanc.
Our signature wine, Dragonada, is a blend of Škrlet and Graševina, named in honor of our grandparents. Additionally, we offer LaRita, a sparkling wine made from Škrlet and Moslavac (Furmint), celebrating the women in Nikica's life: Lela, Ana, Tena, and Rita. Join us to experience the rich flavors and traditions of Moslavina wine culture.
