The Story Behind Lethbridge Wines

Lethbridge Wines was born from the friendship of Adrian Thomas, Maree Collis, and Ray Nadeson, who all shared a passion for wine while pursuing careers in medical science. Their quest for the perfect vineyard led them to establish Lethbridge Wines after seven years of balancing winemaking with their medical careers. The winery is dedicated to crafting savory wines that reflect their unique terroir, focusing on single vineyard and single varietal selections.

Grape Varieties at Lethbridge

Situated in the Moorabool Valley of the Geelong wine region, Lethbridge Wines benefits from ideal soil types and microclimates for vine cultivation. They source grapes from their own vineyards as well as from esteemed growers in nearby regions like Heathcote, Pyrenees, and Henty. The vineyard produces a diverse range of grapes, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Gamay. The best grapes are handpicked to create their red, white, rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines.

Wines Crafted with Care

Under the Between Five Bells label, Lethbridge Wines showcases their creativity, producing wines that prioritize taste over variety or region. Their new Il Modo range features sustainable Italian varietals crafted in 800-liter Tuscan amphora, blending modern techniques with historical practices. Ray and Maree oversee a talented team, ensuring that every bottle meets their high standards.

All wines are made with minimal intervention, resulting in rich, fruity flavors complemented by the desired structure and aroma.
