Viñedos Alonso Del Yerro was established in 2002 by a family passionate about winemaking. The founders, Javier and Maria, chose to honor their children by incorporating their surnames into the winery's name. This decision marked the beginning of a heartfelt family story filled with dreams and dedication. The Alonso Del Yerro family left Madrid to cultivate 26 hectares of Tempranillo vineyards, originally planted 15 years prior, on the picturesque Santa Marta farm in Rao, Burgos. The winery's narrative is not just about its founders; it encompasses the entire family and the community that supports them.
