The estate is covered by exclusive wildlife, such as bridle king, deer, uhu, and buzzards that enhance its beauty. The owner has also established a unique tasting room for the guests to have the best wine tasting experience available.

Franz-Josef Eifel Winery combines both conventional and innovative grape cultivation and wine production methods.
With immense respect for family traditions of winemaking, Franz-Josef Eifel has combined both conventional and innovative methods of grape cultivation and wine production in the cellar. He has brought wooden oak barrels for perfect aging and refining of his wines.

Vineyard Cultivation on the Steep Slopes of Trittenheim

The majority of the vineyards are cultivated on the inclining slopes of Trittenheim, home to the winery’s 80-year-old grapevines. Riesling is the main variety cultivated for the production of their exquisite Mosel Wines. Their micro-terraces of family-owned slopes consist of approximately 50 to 100 plants. Franz-Josef Eifel Winery handpicks their vineyards, and only the best bunches go for fermentation in the wine cellar in large stainless tanks. Using these berries, the company produces luscious white and sparkling wines. With little intervention in the modern cellar, the wines are matured with controlled idleness.

Comfortable and Cozy Accommodations at the Winery

Franz-Josef Eifel Winery also provides comfortable and cozy accommodation to visitors coming from all over the world. The estate owns a sophisticate, yet so relaxing, rooms in their guesthouse – Marlene Eifel-Zimmer. The apartments are well-furnished with a large dining table, surrounded by wooden chairs, and a chandelier, comfy beds, and couches. The guesthouse is facilitated with all amenities for modern travelers.
