Immich-Anker – a Family-Owned Winery Located in the Mosel Valley

Perched within a neo-Gothic style winegrower’s villa, Immich-Anker is a family-owned traditional wine estate located in the Mosel Valley. Today, Immich-Anker is among the top-notch internationally recognized wineries, along with business in private and catering services. In addition to production of their luscious white wines, the winery produces high-quality sparkling and dessert wines, stored in large barrels and barriques.
The story of winemaking for the Immich Family dates back to 1425.

Classic Mosel Riesling, the Flagship of the Winery

Winemaking began in the Immich Family as far back as in the year 1425. Later, Heinrich Philipp Immich established the winery facility in the late 19th century. Preserving the rich legacy, generation after generation, the Immich family now produces its flagship wine – classic Mosel Riesling. The estate owns a well-furnished wine shop in Potsdam, together with a wine shop – Mitscher and Caspary in Berlin-Mitte. Today, Daniel S. Immich, the current owner, manages the wine production creating excellent wines with regional distinction.

Riesling Grown Over Three Hectares

Daniel’s vineyards stretch over an area of 3.3 hectares, where he passionately grows high-quality Riesling. He carefully handpicks his grapes and transports them to the wine cellar for a soft pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks. All wine production processes are carried out in controlled temperature conditions to keep the aromas fully intact. The winey’s cellar is equipped with modern technology which is beautifully combined with traditional winemaking methods. For pressing, pumping, and bottling, Immich-Anker uses a photovoltaic system which has less impact on the environment.

Immich-Anker Winery also owns a charming bed and breakfast, with a view of the picturesque vineyards. Well-equipped rooms for two to four people await you and a magnificent 115 years old tower apartment for four people is also an option when booking a stay at the winery.
