Irany Les Mazelots
Domaine Céline & Frédéric Gueguen
This wine comes from 50-year-old vines located in the village of Irancy on marl and limestone soils of the upper Jurassic, with a southwest exposure. It is made using traditional Burgundian methods with gentle maceration and fermentation to produce fine, digestible wines. The nose is vibrant and fresh, showing red fruits like raspberry, cherry, and morello cherry, along with black fruits such as blackcurrant and blackberry, accented by violet floral notes. With age, it develops aromas of spices, truffle, leather, and forest floor. The palate is full-bodied and rich, balancing substance and liveliness. Best served between 13–16°C, it can age gracefully for 5 to 10 years.
