Winery of the Week: Neverland Vineyards

Innovative Organic Winemaking Crafted in Germany

Welcome to Neverland Vineyards - inspired by the free spirit of Peter Pan, the Class brothers bring fresh ideas to old world terroirs from their vineyards set in the hills of Rheinhessen, Germany. Neverland is more than just wine – it captures the rebellious spirit of brothers Sebastian and Marcel Class and their dream to create unforgettable journeys for the palate.

Neverland Vineyards

Located in Vendersheim, an area renowned for its high limestone concentration in Rheinhessen, the Class brothers represent the 11th generation of winemakers. Since 2013, they have been crafting organic wines inspired by their childhood fascination with Neverland. For them, grapes are the letters in a language of harmony, tension, terroir, and elegance – a language appreciated worldwide from Mainz and Berlin to Copenhagen and Seattle.

Their vineyards are certified organic, following biodynamic principles to work with – not against – nature. Grapes are hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented with native yeasts, and naturally clarified over time, adhering to the philosophy of as little intervention as possible, but as much as necessary.

What to Expect at Neverland Vineyards:

Visitors can expect more than a simple tasting - this is an immersive journey into the heart of Rheinhessen’s terroir and the Class brothers’ creative vision. Sample their signature Rieslings alongside complex prestige cuvées, developed in collaboration with Michelin-starred chefs and top sommeliers. Wines like Good Old Times, Jurassic Sands, Femme Fatale, and Class A Pinot Gris reveal bold character, precise flavors, and unforgettable adventures on the palate.

Neverland’s unique limestone soils, shaped by its history as a former Rhine riverbank, lend the wines remarkable coolness and clarity. While Riesling is their hallmark, each cuvée invites deeper exploration and reflects a singular vision.

Whether you’re a seasoned wine connoisseur or seeking a unique experience, Neverland Vineyards invites you to discover a place where tradition meets creativity, and every bottle tells a compelling story.
