Boutique Winery in the Heart of Emilia-Romagna

Azienda Agricola Villa Rosalba is a quaint family-owned winery nestled in the picturesque DOC Colli Piacentini region. Spanning 100 perches, our vineyard is dedicated to producing exceptional wines, including sparkling varieties crafted through natural bottle fermentation, Méthode rurale, and aged still wines. Each bottle reflects the unique character of our land and the rich traditions of winemaking.

Organic Practices for Quality Grapes

Our commitment to organic farming is evident in our 120 Piacenza perches of vineyards. The soil is naturally covered with grass, promoting a healthy ecosystem. Our vines, aged between 20 to 40 years, boast deep roots that allow them to thrive even in challenging conditions. While our yield per hectare may be modest, the quality of our grapes remains consistently high. Every aspect of vineyard management, from pruning to harvesting, is done by hand to ensure the utmost care.

Precision in Winemaking

In the cellar, we pay meticulous attention to every step of the winemaking process, including pressing, fermenting, macerating, and decanting. The timing for each stage is carefully determined by the specific vintage, grape variety, and desired wine profile. As spring arrives, we begin bottling, followed by a period of refinement—one year for our sparkling wines and at least two years for our still reds, ensuring a product of the highest quality.
