Azienda Agricola Cesconi winery is led by four brothers
A 6-hectare vineyard surrounds the winery with an altitude ranging from 300 to 500 meters. Azienda Agricola Cesconi is an organic winery led by four brothers. The vines grow into two special and different terroirs. On the Pressano hills, they have a soil named Werfen stratification which was made of 260 million years old limestone and sandstone. Other vineyard is close by Lake Garda with a Mediterranean climate.
Starting organically farming
Years of experience in the vineyards led the four brothers to eliminate the use of all synthetic chemicals. They set in place the conversion to organic farming for all of their vineyards and recently they also started using the principles of biodynamics. The deep knowledge of the territory and the daily attention for their vineyards allow them to harvest healthy grapes, thus limiting as much as possible the intervention on the wine in the cellar.
The production of wine is accompanied by a limited production of intense and pure Extra Virgin Olive Oil, coming from centuries-old olive trees in the Valle dei Laghi, just north of Lake Garda
The wines made are sold under labels such as IGT delle Dolomiti and Trento Doc. The grape varieties cultivated in the region are Nosiola, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Manzoni Bianco, Lagrein and Merlot. The prime categories produced at Azienda Agricola Cesconi are red, white, sparkling, dessert and fortified wines.
