Nestled in the picturesque hills of Pressano in Trentino-Alto Adige, Azienda Agricola Cesconi is a family-owned winery with a storied winemaking tradition that dates back to 1751. This small yet passionate winery is dedicated to producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.

Four Brothers at the Helm

Surrounded by a 6-hectare vineyard that spans altitudes of 300 to 500 meters, Azienda Agricola Cesconi is managed by four brothers who share a deep commitment to organic farming. The vineyard benefits from two distinct terroirs: the Pressano hills, characterized by ancient Werfen stratification of limestone and sandstone, and a nearby area near Lake Garda, which enjoys a Mediterranean climate.

Transitioning to Organic and Biodynamic Farming

With years of hands-on experience, the brothers have eliminated synthetic chemicals from their vineyards, transitioning to organic farming practices. Recently, they have embraced biodynamic principles, enhancing the health of their grapes and minimizing cellar interventions. Their intimate knowledge of the land and meticulous care for their vines result in grapes that are both healthy and flavorful.

In addition to wine, Azienda Agricola Cesconi produces a limited selection of intense and pure Extra Virgin Olive Oil from ancient olive trees in the Valle dei Laghi, just north of Lake Garda.

The winery produces wines under labels such as IGT delle Dolomiti and Trento Doc, featuring grape varieties like Nosiola, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Manzoni Bianco, Lagrein, and Merlot. The primary offerings include red, white, sparkling, dessert, and fortified wines, each showcasing the unique characteristics of the Trentino-Alto Adige region.
