One of such fine places for wines is Azienda Agricola Vicentini Agostino. The father-son duo, Agostino Vicentini and Emanuele operate the winery in the hills of Soave.
They have been keeping up the tradition laid out by Agostino’s father which is a tradition that extends four generations
Their zeal and vitality have been the key factors behind the continuous success in producing exemplary award-winning wines.
Azienda Agricola Vicentini Agostino: ecological friendly wine making
Founded in 1990, the winery beholds the young concept of a family winery. The traditional approach to growing different grape varietals are implemented in the vineyards. Along with that, they have respect for the natural environment which makes their practices as chemical-free as possible. No traces of herbicides can be found used in the vineyard.

The dawn is when Agostino and his team set out for picking the correctly ripe grapes for the winemaking. Starting the picking early for cooler harvest gives them more time to get their grapes to the press, which helps to keep the aromatic qualities, states Agostino. Also, the weather is much cooler.
The vineyard produces wines of two appellations, namely, Doc Soave and Doc Valpolicella. The grape varieties grown in the vineyard are Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave, Corvina Rondinella Corvinone. These grapes eventually are bottled into red, white and dessert wines. The winery has recieved prestigious awards like Gambero Rosso 2020, Tre Bicchieri and Soave Superiore DOCG Il Casale 2017.
