The winery breathes in a microclimate that is perfect for the production of excellent quality wines. In the east, the vineyards are covered by Gulf of Manfredonia that sends calming breezes for the Balkans in winter.
Experience the Excellent Wines from Cantine Paradiso Winery
The history of Cantine Paradiso began in the 1800s when La Rochefoucauld’s – a French family, came to export bottles of wines and had the ownership of a quarter of all the lands, and the Zezza barons. Even at that time, the ancient cellars were modernized and well-equipped. Viticulture was the common practice at that time, based on which the Cantine Paradiso winery rested. With great passion and dedication, the owner today produces red and white wines, along with delicious rose wines, all under the Puglia IGT ad DOC status.
Respect for Nature as Principle of Production
On the cultivating land, the winery grows a wide range of grapes. The owner mostly cultivates Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Malvasia, and Moscato. They also give birth to indigenous vines, such as Nero di Troia, Negramaro, and Primitivo. With complete respect for nature and its surrounding environment, the staff uses Apulian Pergola, an ancient method of viticulture, to produce the rich-quality vines. In addition to producing luscious wines, Cantine Paradiso also grows wheat and olive groves and produces high-quality extra virgin olive oil. The wine cellar at Cantine Paradiso is equipped with modern machinery that has traditional roots. During the harvesting season, the grapes are picked manually, and only the selected bunches are sent to the cellar for soft pressing, followed by fermentation in steel casks. Cantine Paradiso stores its precious wines in the wooden barrels before bottling.
