For three generations, the Paradiso family has nurtured vineyards in Apulia, a region steeped in winemaking history. In 1954, Angelo Paradiso established his first winery in Cerignola, located in the heart of Daunia.

Over the years, his four sons expanded the winery, acquiring new land and enhancing the family business.

Today, Angelo, the founder's grandson, carries on the legacy, overseeing the family estates in the Cerignola countryside and selecting the wines produced each year.

Unique Terroir of Cerignola

Cerignola is situated in the Tavoliere delle Puglie, where the soil is rich in limestone and offers excellent drainage. The region experiences a temperate winter with ample rainfall, while summers can be scorching, with temperatures often exceeding 40°C from July to August and minimal rainfall.

The Legend of Nero di Troia

According to local lore, the indigenous grape variety Nero di Troia was introduced to Daunia by Diomedes, the Achaean hero of the Trojan War. Alongside Nero di Troia, other native grapes such as Primitivo and Negroamaro thrive in this fertile land.

Commitment to Quality

Throughout its sixty-plus years of history, the Paradiso family has prioritized its connection to this exceptional land, enhancing the region's winemaking culture and consistently improving the quality of its wines. The guiding principle of Angelo Paradiso's production can be summed up in one word: Pleasure. The family is dedicated to crafting wines that provide a delightful tasting experience while reflecting the essence of Apulia.
