Casa Pardet - Winery

Casa Pardet was established in 1993

The Casa Pardet winery is in the Catalunya region and is very famous for its biodynamic agriculture and making wines without sulfites or any other additives. It is the nickname of the Torres family’s home and is devoted to the making of wines and vinegar. Earlier, the wines were made for personal consumption, but Josep Torres Vilamajo, the current owner of the winery, continued the family tradition and increased the production of wines for sale.

Biodynamic agriculture

The winery follows a deep philosophy and ethic that promotes biodynamic and ecological wine production methods and techniques. They are guided by the position of stars, moon, and other factors to decide each stage in the cultivation of vines and producing wines. The company owns 8 hectares of vineyards, which are almost 25 years old and planted with Trepat, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay varieties. The single-varietal wines made by them reflect the high-quality grapes and the quality of the terroir.

Natural products of the winery

The two main vineyards are Finca 4 Corrals and Estinclells Finca with calcarico soil and a high altitude. All wines made here are natural and do not contain sulfites or other additives. Every year the quality and characteristics of wines are different. The wines are allowed to retain their natural taste and flavor. Some wines are even macerated with herbs. Apart from wines, they even make vinegar that is aged in oak barrels. You can visit the small winery for wine tasting and other exciting activities.
