About Casa Pardet

Founded in 1993, Casa Pardet is a renowned winery located in the heart of Catalonia. Known for its commitment to biodynamic agriculture, this family-owned estate produces wines free from sulfites and other additives. Originally, the Torres family crafted wines for personal enjoyment, but under the stewardship of Josep Torres Vilamajo, the winery has expanded its production for a wider audience.

Biodynamic Practices

Casa Pardet embraces a holistic approach to winemaking, guided by the rhythms of nature, including lunar cycles and celestial positions. The winery cultivates 8 hectares of vineyards, home to nearly 25-year-old vines of Trepat, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. Each single-varietal wine showcases the exceptional quality of the grapes and the unique terroir of the region.

Natural Wines and Vinegar

The estate features two primary vineyards: Finca 4 Corrals and Estinclells Finca, characterized by calcareous soil and elevated altitudes. All wines produced here are natural, allowing the grapes to express their true flavors without the influence of additives. Each vintage offers distinct characteristics, with some wines even infused with herbs. In addition to wine, Casa Pardet also crafts vinegar aged in oak barrels. Visitors are welcome to enjoy wine tastings and learn more about the winemaking process at this charming winery.

What a wonderful experience. We contacted them as we were driving through the area and Pep kindly received us for a tour and wine tasting. He spent time with us explaining his biodynamic wines, growing his grapes and the attention he pays to his wines at every step. Gracias Pep!!!

As a lover of respectful agriculture and living wine as well as being a trained sommelier, I have to say that Casa Pardet is one of my absolute favourite wine makers in the world. And from an objective standpoint I would say that Casa Pardet is harshly underrated; The wines are electric, completely alive, full of flavour and always an experience to drink. Also Pep and Mia who run the winery are lovely people who took the time to show us around the vineyards and cellar, while explaining their philosophy of wine making and living - it was truly wonderful. I can't stress enough how much I recommend seeking out and drinking some fantastic Trepat, Chardonnay or anything else from Casa Pardet.
