The winery benefits from the classic Saumur tuffeau-based sandy and clay-limestone soils, along with cool fermentation temperatures ranging from 16 to 24 degrees Celsius. Domaine des Roches Neuves offers a selection of four outstanding white wines crafted from Chenin Blanc grapes grown in Saumur. The vineyards, located at Les Cerpes et Saint-Vincent, Dampierre, and Parnay, feature sandy clay layers over limestone bedrock. Most white wines are aged on the lees for nearly nine months, enhancing their complexity.

A big thank you to Louis and his wife for this sublime welcome at the Domaine. A superb time spent re-discovering wines in a whole new dimension that is simply brilliant. We knew the wines from having drunk them in cellars or restaurants but the chance to have Louis' expertise made this moment exceptional. We often talk about Men or Women behind the bottles. The Domaine des Roches Nouvelles is the perfect example. Looking forward to coming back to taste the following vintages.

Beautiful tasting of Cabernet Franc and Chenin. Agathe was really professional and very kind in the tasting and visit to the cave. Really congratulations!! I highly recommend this winery. They work really well. Never tasted such clean, fresh and elegant biodynamic wines. Compliments!!
