Domaine Les Ondines, a Young and Prosperous Winery
The winery was founded in 2003 and is located in the famous Rhone Valley. The Mourvèdre planted is am inergral part of their Vacqueyras Rouge blend since 2016. In 2009, Domaine Les Ondines achieved Organic certification. The owners have a lot of plans for the coming years and hopefully, in the next three years, they will cultivate an additional 10 hectares. This will include 2.5 ha of the white grapes Clairette and Roussanne.
57.5 Hectares Over Four Appellations
The estate covers an area of 57.5 hectares in the stunning Rhone Valley. All the vineyards at Domaine Les Ondines are of great benefit making it possible to offer wines under four appellations. The beautiful terroir and 7 hectares of clay-limestone soil with pebbles give life to a beautiful Grenache. Their cellar extends over 700 m and in the upper part of the cellar, they do bottling, preparation of orders, and shipping. In 2015, Domaine Les Ondines equipped the cellar with 22 wooden tanks of 60Hl in size and 3 stainless steel tanks of 70 Hl in size.
