Organic Estate and Winery

Nestled in the picturesque Siena hills, Fattoria Camporignano is an organic estate and winery that captures the essence of Tuscany. Located between the renowned Chianti Classico and Vernaccia di San Gimignano production areas, it sits at the heart of a triangle formed by Siena, Volterra, and San Gimignano, all just a short 30-minute drive away.

Advanced Technology for Quality Wines

Spanning 10 hectares of vineyards, Fattoria Camporignano is dedicated to producing high-quality wines. The winery is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring that every bottle meets exceptional standards. The cellar is designed with precision, featuring advanced CO2 extraction equipment that creates optimal conditions for winemaking.

Natural Fermentation Process

At the winery, grapes undergo a meticulous selection process on a sorting table, ensuring only the best fruit is used for each wine. A unique initiative focuses on selecting indigenous yeasts specific to the vineyard, leading to the creation of the "Camporignano" yeast. This natural fermentation process enhances the wines' character and consistency over time. The spacious cellar, designed for aging in barrels and barriques, is equipped with a climate control system that maintains a stable temperature of 15°C and ideal humidity throughout the year.

We had booked a tasting of 7 wines with local specialties. First there was a short introduction to the winery, then the wine tasting began. During the two hours we never had the feeling of having to stress, we were allowed to ask questions at any time, which were gladly answered. We would definitely recommend it!

By far our favorite wine tasting experience in Tuscany. The tour was intimate and even included a brief stop out in the vineyard. The lunch was incredible with many unique homemade dips and pasta. Highly recommend visiting!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to witness this wine tasting. New owners from 2019 have developed this winery into a fantastic business. Quality and craftsmanship are very high! Everyone is super sweet and has a lot of knowledge about grapes and wine. We were during the harvest season and it was interesting to see how the grapes are processed. We tasted 7 wines, it was an experience. Delicious snacks prepared with love. It really was a real Tuscan experience. You make a memory of those days.

It was honestly our best wine tasting experience! From the welcome to the end, everything was perfect, I have nothing to complain about. We chose the tasting of the 7 wines of the estate, accompanied by quality regional products. The wines were excellent, with a real favorite for the last one. We were able to discover regional grape varieties, and the explanations were always very interesting. Not to mention the setting, idyllic! A big thank you, because we had a very pleasant time, and it is certain that it will remain a great memory of our vacation in Tuscany. We are obviously leaving with some memories of this tasting!
