Fattoria Santa Vittoria: A Gem in Tuscany's Wine Landscape

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Valdichiana, Fattoria Santa Vittoria is a family-owned estate with a legacy spanning over two centuries. Originally part of the Fattoria Granducale di Pozzo, the Niccolai family has been at the helm since 1980, crafting exceptional wines that reflect the essence of Tuscany. The estate encompasses a winery, olive grove, and diverse agricultural lands, making it a vibrant hub for both wine production and hospitality.

Stay in Comfort and Savor Exquisite Wines

With 35 hectares of vineyards, Fattoria Santa Vittoria cultivates a variety of traditional Tuscan grapes alongside international favorites. Varieties such as Sangiovese, Prugnolo Gentile, and Cabernet Sauvignon thrive here, producing a range of white DOC and red IGT wines, as well as rosé and dessert wines. Guests can enjoy a unique experience by staying in beautifully decorated apartments on the estate, surrounded by lush vineyards and olive trees.

The estate's location in the serene western Valdichiana offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Since 1992, the winery has experimented with innovative grape varieties from other Italian regions, enhancing its portfolio with high-quality wines.

Where Tradition Meets Innovation

The winery's cellar, built in the mid-19th century, maintains its historical charm while incorporating modern technology for wine production and preservation. Fattoria Santa Vittoria also produces award-winning extra virgin olive oil and artisanal pasta made from ancient grains cultivated on the farm.

Excellent service. Claudio, the guide, is very patient and explains things very clearly. He doesn't just focus on winemaking, but also adds anecdotes from the Tuscany region.

My family and I were warmly welcomed by Claudio for a wine tasting with 20 minutes notice. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and Claudio took his time sharing his wealth of knowledge with us. You can tell how passionate he is about wine and it made the tasting so enjoyable. We highly recommend this winery! If you are driving between Florence and Rome, it is very convenient to get to.

During a stay in Tuscany last month we decided to visit this winery that I have known for years. In fact, their wines are often on our tables on holidays! We were welcomed by Elia who gave us a very complete tour of the winery, illustrating the types of vines and wines produced, production techniques and gave very interesting historical details! We then proceeded to a tasting of different wines. It was a shame that the day was a bit gloomy but fortunately it was brightened by the friendliness and expertise of our Cicerone! We recommend everyone to book and stop by the Santa Vittoria winery! Thanks from Catherine, Alberto, Sebastiano and Lorenzo!

Visiting Claudio is always a pleasure. The lawyer's guardian and trusted standard-bearer, he manages to take you on a sensory journey through the centuries of the company. Large and small barrels are a tangible sign of a past that was, of a tangible present and of a future as succulent as the nectar they contain. The vinsanto above all else, but also the Pugnitello stands out ... Scannagallo above all!! well done well done well done...

We visited the winery and tasted all their wines, which were delicious! Some of them were very surprising. Claudio showed us everything in great detail, you can see that he lives it with great passion and dedication. In addition to the wine tasting, we were able to taste local products and the olive oil they make, which is super good! The winery is historic, so it is very authentic. 100% recommended.
