Vision and Passion at Podere Anima Mundi

Marta Sierota, the owner, grew up in Poland and France before relocating to Tuscany in 2008. She believes that wine is a product of both nature and human effort. In 2012, she established Podere Anima Mundi by purchasing the farm. The winery follows biodynamic practices throughout the winemaking process, producing varietal wines without additives to highlight the unique terroir. The estate's oldest vineyards cultivate Foglia Tonda and Due Venti, along with Pugnitello and Colorino del Valdarno. The flagship wines, Mor di Roccia and Due Venti, showcase the estate's commitment to quality. Additionally, the winery grows Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, and Sauvignon Blanc. Not only was she such a wonderful and interesting person to speak with, she was very knowledgeable about the entire property and was very accommodating in our questions and requests. Staying at a villa close to Podere Anima Mundi, we contacted them for a tour of the vineyard. Francesca greeted us, described the process, was very knowledgeable and poured us a few glasses of the wine produced there. Beautiful wine and very welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Contacted Podera Anima Mundi upon a fellow natural wine enthusiasts' recommendation and they were accommodating to our tight itinerary to schedule an afternoon tour. We were brought around the vineyards by Francesca, who was very forthcoming with insights into the viticulture and biodynamic practices used. Love that they work with native grapes of the region and enjoyed the wine tasting very much!
