A Celebration of Women’s Legacy in Tuscany’s Chianti Classico
Located in the picturesque Chianti Classico region of Greve in Chianti, Savignola Winery has been crafting exceptional wines since 1780. Spanning 5 hectares, our boutique winery produces around 20,000 bottles annually, known for their quality and elegance. The story of Savignola is deeply rooted in the contributions of women. Paolina, a pioneering figure, was the first to bottle her Riserva in modern bordolese bottles, moving away from the traditional fiasco. Her innovative spirit helped shape the future of Chianti Classico winemaking.
Today, Manuela and her husband Luzius carry on this legacy with dedication and passion. What distinguishes Savignola is our meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation in every aspect of our winemaking. The unique clay and limestone soil of our hills demands careful cultivation each year to create wines that are rich, intense, and long-lasting. By adhering to sustainable farming practices and an integrated production philosophy, we honor our terroir, allowing our wines and olive oil to express their true character and authenticity.
