Legacy Producing World-Class Wines

For generations, the winemaking tradition runs deep in the roots of the Mastilovic Family. Plenty of hard work, dedication, passion, and unity – is what it takes to preserve their ancestors’ legacy of creating world-class, organic wines from Croatia. Their winemaking story begins in 1988 with Mirko, who spent his time admiring the beautiful hills, escaping from a stressful job. He made olive oil until 2015 when his son, Juraj, took over the business and started producing wines. Juraj, after his oenological studies, gained adequate experience of winemaking and decided to craft wines. A vast range of grapes are used at Stancija Collis Winery to produce award-winning red, white, and rosé wines.

Renovations at the Winery

Today, the whole family has indulged themselves in the world of wines. The vineyards of Stancija Collis Winery grow Malvazija Istarska, Teran, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate also carries out animal farming, raising cows, calves, chickens, Istrian donkey, and Istrian ox.

The garage-turned-winery at Stancija Collis has undergone many changes over time. Modern tools replace old traditional equipment, and a small family-owned cellar is transformed into a barrique room. To make the winery an even more exciting place to visit, the Mastilovic Family organizes various adventures for tourists, paired with wine tasting.
