Covered with vineyards and olive groves in the natural surroundings’ beauty, the Winery sits on the steep slopes in Istria. The splendid view from the hilltop of the winery brimming with birds’ chirping and refreshing air will leave any living soul spellbound.
For generations, the winemaking tradition runs deep in the roots of the Mastilovic Family. Plenty of hard work, dedication, passion, and unity – is what it takes to preserve their ancestors’ legacy of creating world-class, organic wines from Croatia. Their winemaking story begins in 1988 with Mirko, who spent his time admiring the beautiful hills, escaping from a stressful job. He made olive oil until 2015 when his son, Juraj, took over the business and started producing wines. Juraj, after his oenological studies, gained adequate experience of winemaking and decided to craft wines. A vast range of grapes are used at One Hill Winery to produce award-winning red, white, and rosé wines.
Today, the whole family has indulged themselves in the world of wines. The vineyards of One Hill Winery grow Malvazija Istarska, Teran, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate also carries out animal farming, raising cows, calves, chickens, Istrian donkey, and Istrian ox.
The garage-turned-winery at One Hill has undergone many changes over time. Modern tools replace old traditional equipment, and a small family-owned cellar is transformed into a barrique room. To make the winery an even more exciting place to visit, the Mastilovic Family organizes various adventures for tourists, paired with wine tasting.

We came to this wonderful winery quite spontaneously. We were warmly welcomed by the winery owner's mother and provided with wonderful wines and the unique olive oil and sausage/cheese platter. Our children were also given a delicious orange lemonade. We had a wonderful tasting at the winery and were able to learn a little of the Venetian/Croatian language. Thanks to a small football field right next to the winery, our children were also able to let off steam. So nothing stands in the way of a visit with children.😉 We would like to thank you very much for the wonderful, friendly tasting. I had a wonderful experience tonight. I would recommend it to anyone in the area. It is family run so everything they give you is homemade. You can really tell that they do this out of passion and not for a commercial purpose. We completely relaxed during this wine tasting and really enjoyed it! We finally got out of the package homemade apple pie and a glass of house wine! All in all, you can't miss this experience when you visit Rovinj.

Amazing vineyard, amazing hosts 😀 We tried their wines and tapas/meza which was delicious. They don't use any chemicals in their wines, it's all ecological and bio dynamic. Great location and scenery as well. I recommend it with all my heart.

We recently stumbled across Collis in Rovinj and had the most relaxing afternoon. Carmen, the host, greeted us warmly and took the time to give us a comprehensive introduction to their exquisite selection of organic wines. I highly recommend trying their Malvasia, a truly stunning summer wine that left us craving for more. In fact, we were so enamored by it that we couldn't resist buying a box to savor at home. A visit to Collis is definitely worth your while, as it promises a relaxing and memorable experience.
