Casarotto Farms- Winery with Enigmatic Charm and Residing at the foot of the Lessini Mountains
Getting lost in the aromatic fragrance of wines is an unexplainable thing. Residing at the foot of the Lessini Mountains, Casarotto Farms gives an enigmatic charm in the eyes of an individual visiting. It covers the border with Soave, which lies in the region of Veneto. The passion and hard work have done an incredible job in establishing the Casarotto winery. The winery is expanded in the 15 hectares of the land.
The soil and Climate at the Winery
In 1945, the owner’s great grandfather began vinification since then it has been run by the three generations. The soil on the land has excellent sun exposure and helps wine fully absorb the soil’s food principles. The climatic conditions have favoured the success of an impeccable Soave and Recioto di Soave.

Winery in the hilly terrains La Garganega and Trebbiano di is located in the Basaltic origin. The remaining part, Monti Lessini area, lies in the municipality of San Giovanni, Giovanni Ilarione Durella, where wines are cultivated. They are suitable for the production of Durello wine. The winemakers follow personal caring from the time of cultivation to the time of selling. Hard work can be witnessed very clearly as the wines’ fragrance is all around, and workers are working with passion.
The grape variety produced in this winery is Garganega, Durella, Merlot, Cabernet. The production of rich taste red, white, rose, sparkling, and dessert wines are classified as Soave.
The winery area has been an eye-catcher as the scenic views of nature surrounding it.

Excellent tasting amongst stunning vineyards
This was an amazing experience. We were the only people to book at that time so the tasting was private. The host was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, providing some in depth insight into wine making. We tasted 4 different wines, all of which were so good! Some nibbles also provided which was much appreciated. This is a non-commercial family run winery and has all the charm and hospitality you could want - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
