Casarotto Farms: A Winery Nestled at the Foot of the Lessini Mountains

Casarotto Farms, located at the base of the stunning Lessini Mountains, offers a unique charm that captivates every visitor. This winery, situated near the Soave border in the Veneto region, spans 15 hectares and is a testament to the passion and dedication of three generations of winemakers. With vineyards averaging 35-40 years in age, the winery produces a diverse range of wines that reflect the rich terroir of the area.

Soil and Climate: Ideal Conditions for Winemaking

Since 1945, when the owner's great-grandfather began vinification, the winery has thrived under the careful stewardship of the family. The land benefits from excellent sun exposure, allowing the vines to absorb essential nutrients from the soil. These favorable climatic conditions contribute to the production of exceptional Soave and Recioto di Soave wines, known for their quality and character.

Stunning Views and Quality Wines

Casarotto Farms is located in the hilly terrains of La Garganega and Trebbiano, with a basaltic origin that enhances the wine's flavor profile. The Monti Lessini area, part of the municipality of San Giovanni, is where the Durello grape thrives, making it ideal for producing high-quality Durello wines. The winemakers take great care in every step of the process, from cultivation to bottling, ensuring that each bottle reflects their hard work and passion.

The winery produces a variety of grapes, including Garganega, Durella, Merlot, and Cabernet, resulting in a rich selection of red, white, rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines classified as Soave. Visitors are often enchanted by the scenic beauty surrounding the winery, making it a perfect spot for wine lovers and travelers alike.

For us who live in the area and who can compare different Durello wines, this one from Cassetti remains the best.

"Good wine comes in small packages" family-run winery, you can feel the quality of a carefully selected product. I recommend the new, truly volcanic Eva duel. Francesca is very kind and very knowledgeable. Excellent quality/price ratio

It is a family-run winery. It produces white and red wines sold both in bulk and in bottles. The quality is good, especially the soft white wine and Durello typical of Verona. The price/quality ratio is interesting. I recommend it.
