High above Eppan, our family-run winery has followed organic principles since the 1980s. Today, we focus on PIWI varieties that reflect our land and spirit.
Your experience begins with a guided walk through our diverse farm – from vineyards and chestnut trees to vegetable gardens and animals. In the cellar, we’ll share how and why we make wine our own way: slow, natural, and without compromise. The experience ends with a tasting of a selection of older and new vintages of our wines.

Pioneers of organic winemaking in the region, a lot of experimenting and creativity that is translated into a perfection in a glass. Fresh, crisp, wines with a lot of character, yet easy to drink, reflection of its terroir! Bought a lot of bottles and can’t wait to go back next time I am in the region.

Amazing winery! Walking around in the wine yard was really a great experience, seeing how they are truly committed to producing wine yet taking care of the nature. We ended with tasting beautiful wine - we are certainly coming back

Addendum June 2020. This particular Hof Gandberg winery is listed in a wine guide. I wanted to check it out. A truly organic farm. All kinds of animals roam the farm. The wine is sold in a small room. I still have a 06 Abendrot (Mitterberg Bianco) and the 76 Weissburgunder in my small wine cellar.

We purchased this unfiltered 2016 Souvignier Gris at the Bomprezzi wine shop in Rome. A very unusual wine, but good, fresh, and full of flavors and aromas of grasses and mountain fruits.
