AOP Vacqueyras Rouge Cuvée Spéciale
The Vacqueyras Rouge Cuvée Spéciale is a new cuvée launched after acquiring a prized plot in the “Cabane” lieu-dit, planted with 50-year-old Grenache and Syrah vines rooted in sandy clay soils. Rigorous viticulture practices include green harvesting, leaf thinning, and hand-picking with strict double sorting. Vinification takes place in truncated wooden vats with 4–6 weeks of maceration, daily pump-overs, and malolactic fermentation in demi-muids. The resulting wine is complex and structured, with a rich, concentrated profile reflecting its old-vine origins. Serve at 16–18°C, ideally decanted. Ask ChatGPT
