Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Mourre des Perdrix
This single-vineyard cuvée comes exclusively from the “Mourre des Perdrix” locality on a half-plateau in Courthézon, with soils of red clay, rounded pebbles, and sandy marl. Crafted from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault, it is made with rigorous vineyard practices, including green harvesting and leaf thinning, followed by manual harvest and double sorting. Vinification takes place in stainless steel and large oak vats over 3–4 weeks with gentle extraction, before aging in a combination of large oak vats, barrels, and demi-muids. A structured and complex Châteauneuf-du-Pape, ideal to pair with meats, game birds, or fine cheeses.
