AOP Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvée Domaine
A powerful and authentic Châteauneuf-du-Pape crafted from 70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, and 15% Mourvèdre sourced from 40-year-old vines growing on characteristic soils rich in sand, red clay, limestone, and rounded pebbles. Hand-harvested with rigorous sorting, the grapes undergo traditional vinification with co-fermentation of Grenache and Syrah, and separate vinification for Mourvèdre, followed by 2–3 weeks of maceration and malolactic fermentation in wooden or stainless steel vats. The wine is aged across a mix of wooden vats, demi-muids, barrels, and stainless steel to build complexity and balance. Best served at 16–18°C and ideally decanted to reveal its layered character.
