From Passion to Production, the Story of Successful Winemaking in Alsace
François Schwach founded this estate back in 1950 in the heart of the beautiful Alsace region. François gave up his office job to pursue his passion for winemaking. He sold his first vintage in 1960, and the vineyard has continued to produce beautiful wines since. In 1975, Philippe acquired the company’s management and expanded the estate by purchasing new plots and making investments in the company’s modernization.
A Modern Approach at Domaine Schwach François et Fils
Today, Sébastien, the third generation, of the family owns and runs the vineyard. He nourishes the winery with his authentic know-how and modern approach to wine production. Sebastien is deeply committed to producing refined and well-balanced wines with good vibes. Indeed, their wines reflect the qualities of terroirs and the variety of grapes they use. The careful winemaking process helps achieve a big noticeable difference in Domaine Schwach François et Fils wines. Also, the pneumatic pressing of grapes helps sublimate the aromas. Thermo-regulated vats allow obtaining a unique and high-quality wine.
