Minkov Brothers Wine Cellar is a delightful destination for wine enthusiasts, embodying the spirit of the Bulgarian Revival and the warmth of a historic townhouse. Nestled on a scenic hill, the winery is surrounded by stunning vineyards located 10-15 km west of Karnobat, along the Bourgas-Sofia road. This prime location is no coincidence; it lies within the oldest and finest vineyards of the Karnobat region, renowned for its rich winemaking heritage. The unique combination of terrain, climate, and soil in this area ensures the exceptional quality of the grapes produced here, just 70 km from the beautiful Black Sea Coast.

The Minkov Brothers believe that “Winemaking starts at the vineyards.” They have meticulously selected three distinct plots in Terziysko, Ognen, and Devetak to cultivate exceptional vineyards and craft high-quality wines. Each vineyard, while close in proximity, possesses unique characteristics that enhance the complexity and appeal of the wines.

The Minkov Brothers—Ivan, Vasil, and Nikifor—made history by winning Bulgaria's first gold medal at the Brussels Wine Fair in 1894.
