Minkov Brothers Winery, Winemaking Starts in the Vineyards
Minkov Brothers wine cellar is a charming destination for wine tourism as the estate carries the spirit of the Bulgarian Revival and the coziness of an old townhouse. The winery was built on a picturesque hill, among magnificent vineyards 10-15 km West of Karnobat, on the road Bourgas, Sofia. The cellar location is not accidental; the oldest and best vineyards of the Karnobat region are grown here, a place with centuries-old traditions in winemaking. The unique combination of relief, climate, and soil features is a prerequisite for the excellent quality of the grapes from this region. Minkov Brothers Winery is located near 70 km west of the Black Sea Coast.
The philosophy of Minkov Brothers is that “Winemaking starts at the vineyards.” Three land plots were carefully selected in Terziysko, Ognen, and Devetak – to grow exceptional vineyards and make quality wines. Despite their proximity to one another, the vineyards have their own unique characteristics, contributing to the wines’ complexity and attractiveness.
