Organic Winery with Hand-Harvested Grapes
The soils of rBodegas JER are both clay and alluvial, perfect for the growth of grapes. The vineyards are small so they handpick grapes as it is challenging to use a tractor in the small slopes. They produce a limited production which has very high quality and perfect complexity. The grapes that generally grow in the region are Tempranillo, Viura, and Garnacha. The winery produces organic and high quality red, white, rosé, and fortified wines. Aging of the wines takes place in oak barrels to preserve and enhance the aromas and flavors of each varietal. Rosé wines are the specialty of the Bodegas JER Winery as they possess a fresh and refreshing character.
