Borambola Winery uses both traditional Old World techniques with New World innovations in creation of their wines.
First Grapevines Cultivated by Tim McMullen in 1995
Tim McMullen, the owner and director, along with the Chief Marketing Officer, Naomi, has completely immersed themselvles into the management of Borambola Wines. He cultivated his first grapes in 1995 and still spends most of his time taking care for the vineyards. With great efforts and dedication, Tim has combined traditional Old World techniques with the innovative technology of New World ideas. Combining these methods, the estate produces luscious red, white, and sparkling wines, together with Tuckerbox Hoppy Lager beer and apple cider.
Chardonnay, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon are the Focus
Tim focuses on the cultivation of three prime grape varieties, which include high-quality Chardonnay, Shiraz, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines are grown in an appropriate microclimate and mineral-rich soils. These vineyards are located in the two most prolific regions of Australia, Gundagai and Orange.
