Pico Island Wine Cooperative - Picowines  

Frei Gigante is a white wine from Pico, characterized by citrus aromas layered over a seaweed note that evokes the volcanic sea breeze. Made from Arinto dos Açores, Verdelho, and Terrantez do Pico, it is fermented and aged separately in stainless steel tanks under lees for six months, preserving freshness. The palate is full-bodied with vibrant acidity and a saline finish.
