Biondi Winery

Vigna Chianta is produced in the Ronzini area of Trecastagni on the slopes of Mount Etna. The wine is made from Caricante, Cataratto, and Minnella grapes grown at 650 meters altitude in volcanic (lava) soils. It is aged in 225-liter wooden barrels and then refined for 9 months in the bottle. The wine shows a golden yellow color with aromatic notes of apricot, honey, and anise. On the palate, it is full yet elegant, mineral, fresh, with persistent flavors of apricot and anise.
