Low alcohol content and high acidity are the peculiarities of Asprinio wine, essential characteristics for obtaining a high quality final distillate. our Italian Brandy derives from the distillation of Asprinio wine and the grapes come from the oldest rows of our vineyards which we harvest, given the great heights, in time bands with respect to their degree of ripeness. after distillation with the discontinuous method it is aged for several years in first passage French barriques. its characteristics require waiting and the use of a large glass for tasting to release all its aromatic peculiarities, bringing long vanilla notes at the end. despite its age, the scent remains fruity with hints of Annurca apple, banana and prune. there are hints of pastry: vanilla and cocoa. it has an elegant, warm flavour; there is full respect for the perceived notes, with a soft nose despite the absolute absence of sugar, sweeteners and caramel.
