Tenuta Dioscuri: A Legacy of Fine Wines
Passito wine “Greco di Bianco” DOC from Tenuta Dioscuri. It represents one of the ancient vines of Italy and is the fruit of the vine brought in the 7th century BC by the Greek colonists, who founded the first nucleus of what was later called Magna Graecia in the most extreme part of the Ionian coast of Calabria. It was once produced in those stone millstones, visible in the hills around Bianco. Even today, Greco di Bianco Doc is produced after drying the grapes on racks exclusively in the municipalities of Bianco and Casignana (RC). The wine has a straw yellow color tending towards golden, complex hints of orange blossom and caramel.
